If you have:
- An early start in the morning and finish quite late.
- Are held in hot summer months or other unusual weather conditions.
- Are destination weddings.
- Have several bridal dress/accessory changes.
- OR simply because you want to be sure you'll look perfect all day long!
Does this include Bridesmaids hair/makeup?
Yes, and touchup is included: only bridesmaids' touch-ups throughout the day are included.
How long is the full-day service?
12 hours, starting from the time Lily starts your Hair/Makeup.
If you go second last, Lily will deduct the last person time out of the 12 hours.
Does this include travel and parking costs?
Yes, it is calculated and included in the invoice.
When will Lily and her team arrive to set up?
About 15 minutes before the start time.

No, 3 months before your wedding, you will receive an email instructing you on how to make the final payment at the Bridal Trial.
How do I set up the hair/makeup station for Lily?
A week before your wedding, you will receive an email containing a checklist.
Can or should I bring someone to watch the trial?
Not available. Our space does not have a designated waiting area, but there is a nearby mall where they can wait.
What do I need to bring to the trial?
You will receive an email with a preparation list and details on what to bring, including:
- Inspirational images
- Photo references of your wedding dress
- Veil, hair extensions, or accessories
- Your own products if you have sensitive skin or prefer to use them
What if I have short hair but I want to trial out a few hairstyles that require more length or volume?
Please consult with us first.
Should I have my hair washed the night before?
Yes. Clean, freshly washed hair creates the ideal foundation for styling, while an oily scalp can make the base work more challenging.
Should I have my trial and engagement shoot on at the same time?
Pros:
- You can see how your hair and makeup appear on a professional camera, especially considering how your photographer’s editing style may affect the final look.
Cons:
- If your hair and makeup aren’t quite right, you’ll be stuck with them in the photos, as they are permanent.
- We usually recommend testing the styles you're most unsure about during the trial to help with the elimination process, while your go-to look remains a safe option.
- If you have a photoshoot afterward, you won’t be able to try different eyeshadow styles.
- Face framing: We won’t be able to trim your fringe to the exact length during the trial, as we need to keep some length for adjustments on the wedding day. This may result in an unbalanced look for the shoot.
Can you travel to my location for the trial?
No, it must be held at our artist's studios.
Lily is located in Lurnea.
Should I have eyelash extensions on for the makeup trial?
Highly not recommended (the artist will not be able to customise the lashes according to your eye shape).
What if I have dark hair for the trial?
Highly recommend looking at inspirational photos of girls with dark hair (Do NOT look at lighter hair colour e.g. blonde hair images if you do not have blonde hair).
What usually happens at the trial?
You will fill out a questionnaire before the appointment. We will go through a thorough discussion based on your responses.
- It’s a 3-hour session for hair and makeup (1.5 hours for hair or makeup).
- An additional hour for a mini photography session allows us to evaluate your makeup and hair through a professional camera, helping with the visualisation of the final result.
Can I try multiple makeup looks/hairstyles at the trial?
For makeup: only have 2 different eyeshadow styles/colours on each eye.
For hair: only 1 style, unless the other styles are achievable during the process.
How do I pay?
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure the date.
You will receive an email confirmation email that provides the payment instructions and procedures.
Can I bring a guest?
Unforatuntely, no.
Out studio does not have a waiting area.
Do you provide hair extensions?
No.
Only for Bridal.
Do you travel for mobile jobs?
If there are 3 or more people.
